Description

WomenGive is a child care scholarship for single mothers pursuing post secondary education. WomenGive scholarships cover the cost of direct care services per child during the time the student (mother) is enrolled in classes. Scholarships are paid directly to the childcare provider.

You might be a good fit for WomenGive if:• You are a single mother enrolled in college or are planning to start next semester• You have an education plan and are confident about your career choice• You need help covering the cost of childcare while you are in school or studying• You would like some extra support and encouragement while you are in school

Scholarship award amounts depend on the number of credits the student (mother) is taking and the age of her children. WomenGive scholarships do not cover previous balances, registration fees, activity fees or extra meals.

The WomenGive program includes access to our WomenGive Program Manager for support and encouragement as well as Emergency Assistance funding available one time per semester. WomenGive can also connect participants with information about other resources - like our partnership with Project Self-Sufficiency - that may help their families thrive.
